The Competitors

List of competing poets!

All official Poetry Slam, Inc rules apply:

Each poem must be of the poet's own construction;
Each poet gets a specified number of minutes (plus a ten-second grace period) to read one poem, if the poet goes over, points will be deducted from the total score (see below for the time requirements);
The poet may not use props, costumes, or musical instruments;
Of the scores the poet received from the five judges, the high and low scores are dropped, and the middle three are added together, giving the poet a total score of 0-30.

Additionally, there will be NO repeats allowed.

Round one is 1 minute or less, round two is 4 minutes or less. All poets compete.

THURSDAY STANDINGS

Round one is 2 minutes or less, round two is 3 minutes or less. All poets compete.

FRIDAY STANDINGS

3 minute poems, no repeats.

The 4 poets with the best scores from round two finish it in round three!
